SANTA IZABEL FARM

Located in the south of Minas Gerais the farm Santa Izabel has always been recognized for the high quality of its coffees. In 2013 acquired by Nobletree Coffee Farms from its former owner Marco Suplicy, the farm went through reformulations and in 2017 began to reap its new fruits.

In 2017 our Bourbon plantation was present at the Cup of Excellence, in addition our planting of Icatu variety which in 2013 placed the Santa Izabel farm the 11th place in the Pulping-Natural category in 2015.

Now, as the older sections are being renovated, the focus is on renewal. Currently the farm has 40 different varieties to test which coffees will taste better and will produce better for the next harvests.

Fazenda Santa Izabel adopts good socio-environmental practices and preserves the quality of each crop, as well as courses and workshops for small producers in the region, strengthening their ties and helping them find the best buyers.

NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS PROGRAM

Spreading our knowledge of specialty coffee production and technology to our neighbors and friends. This is Nobletree Coffee and Farms’s way of increasing the production of specialty coffee in an important Brazilian coffee region. Beyond the amazing cup of coffee, Nobletree Coffee and Farms is concerned about the quality of life of its partners by offering the opportunity to export their coffee to the most demanding international buyers. For that reason, Nobletree Coffee and Farms launched a new and important initiative, the Neighbors and Friends Program.

Nobletree Coffee and Farms believes in collaborative partnerships, which is the reason why it invests in the training of producers in its operating regions, the Mogiana region of Espirito Santo do Pinhal and the Sul de Minas region of Ouro Fino. Our focus is on encouraging quality and production of specialty coffees by combining good varieties, the exclusive terroir of the region, and the correct handling and processing of the coffee so as to obtain a product of excellence. In order to achieve our objectives, Nobletree Coffee and Farms holds field days with specific training sessions focused on specialty coffees in partnership with two important institutions in Brazil, SEBRAE and SENAR, that promote training of small and medium producers. Nobletree Coffee and Farms also supports our friend producers with post-harvest guidance, drying methods, cupping, and coffee sales.
